Give money to the charity you’re passionate about and save inheritance tax

It’s possible to save inheritance tax by giving money to your favourite charity by itemising your wishes in your Will – Andrew Murray of Bishop & Sewell LLP explains…

If in your will you’ve left a proportion of your estate to charity, that proportion can save inheritance tax.

It can reduce your estate for inheritance tax.

If you give a big enough proportion to charity and it’s approximately 10% then you can reduce the overall rate of inheritance tax for the rest of your estate by a few percentage points.

Save tax giving to charity in your will. Leave part of your legacy in good hands supporting the good work your favourite charities.
